Woman Killed after North Highlands Pedestrian Accident on A Street and South Haven Drive
NORTH HIGHLANDS (October 7, 2019) — A woman died following a pedestrian accident on A Street on Thursday, October 3.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a female pedestrian and her dog tried to cross the intersection of A Street and South Haven Drive. Then a dark-colored, possibly brown, Honda Civic coupe stuck her and her dog.
Officials said the woman sustained fatal injuries. The dog was also hurt and was taken to Sacramento County Animal Control.
The Honda was last noticed moving eastbound on A Street. It may have moderate to major front-end damage.
