Police Search for Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on US 60 in Apache Junction

Apache Junction, AZ (July 16, 2023) – Sunday morning, a woman died in a hit-and-run crash on US 60.

The fatal hit-and-run crash on US 60 happened at about 7:40 a.m. eastbound near the Meridian Road off-ramp on July 16.

Investigators believe the woman who was killed was walking along the freeway when she was struck by the truck.

The truck is described as a white single-cab dually flatbed pickup truck with black rails.

In addition, the passenger side of the truck is also likely to be damaged, and the headlights may also be broken.

That woman has not been identified. The truck involved did not remain on the scene.
