1 Killed in Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident on Roberts Avenue and Sebastopol Road
SANTA ROSA, CA (March 24, 2021) – Tuesday night, a woman died in a hit-and-run crash on Roberts Avenue and Sebastopol Road.
According to Santa Rosa Police Department, at around 9:48 p.m., two men were arguing. Then, one of the men got into a vehicle and drove south on Roberts Avenue. He drove across the eastbound lane and struck the female victim in front of a tent. Afterward, the driver fled on foot after the crash.
Furthermore, responders found the woman underneath the vehicle that ran her over. Santa Rosa Firefighters extricated the victim and performed life-saving measures but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also, the second man involved in the argument was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Santa Rosa Police Department asks everyone with information about the hit-and-run driver to contact the authorities as soon as possible.
