1 Injured in Lakeside Vehicle Accident on Wildcat Canyon Road
LAKESIDE, CA (December 7, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a woman died in a fiery crash on Wildcat Canyon Road.
The incident happened at around 4:27 p.m. at the 12000 block of Wildcat Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound BMW 325i sedan veered towards the right side of the road. Then, it drove up an embankment where it collided with a tree before crashing down a ditch. Afterward, the vehicle erupted into flames after the incident.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the female driver of the vehicle failed to extricate herself from the vehicle when it caught flames. Also, authorities said that a passenger of the vehicle managed to exit the vehicle after the crash. Then, paramedics transported the passenger to a hospital with serious injuries.
Furthermore, firefighters rushed to the scene to put out the fire that spread to the vegetation in the area.
