VENTURA, CA (December 1, 2021) – Sunday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on Thompson Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
 
According to the Ventura Police Department, the incident happened at around 6:06 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near the intersection of Thompson Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
 
Reports revealed that a car struck a female pedestrian walking east in the 200 block of Thompson Boulevard. Then, the force of the crash knocked the victim down and trapped her under the vehicle.
 
Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. Also, officials confirmed that the patient died at around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
 
Furthermore, the vehicle driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
