1 Killed in Stockton Auto Accident on Interstate 5 near Eight Mile Road
STOCKTON, CA (October 26, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a woman died in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 near Eight Mile Road.
The incident happened at around 2:19 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near the Eight Mile Road offramp.
According to reports, a vehicle changed lanes and collided with another vehicle. Then, the first vehicle aggressively veered to the right and off the roadway. Eventually, it crashed down an embankment, rolling over multiple times.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the female driver of the causing vehicle succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Also, the driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and waited for the authorities.
Furthermore, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Meanwhile, the fatal incident remained under investigation.
