1 Hospitalized in Tulare County Traffic Accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 152
TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 6, 2022) – Sunday morning, a woman died in a solo crash on Highway 99 near Avenue 152.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:00 a.m. Also, the collision occurred on Highway 99 just north of Avenue 152 in Tipton.
Reports revealed that a vehicle drift off towards the left shoulder of the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, the 62-year-old female driver of the vehicle overcorrected and veered towards the opposite side. Then, it went into an embankment where it struck a chain link fence before it overturned. Also, the force of the crash ejected the driver into the roadway.
Moreover, responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a 40-year-old passenger of the vehicle to Kaweah Health with unknown injuries.
