LOS GATOS, CA (December 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, a woman died in a traffic crash on Highway 17 near Idylwild Road.
 
The incident happened at around 9:16 a.m. on Highway 17 near Idylwild Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a westbound black 2013 Toyota vehicle made a left turn into southbound Highway 17. Then, it collided with a northbound gray Ford Mustang. The 51-year-old driver of the Mustang remained at the scene to wait for the authorities.
 
Moreover, responders rushed the 27-year-old female driver of the Toyota to Valley Medical Center where she later succumbed to injuries.
 
Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, officials asked anyone with information about the crash to call the CHP San Jose area field office at 408-961-0900.
