SAN JOSE, CA (February 3, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on Fontanelle Court near Coyote Road.

According to San Jose police spokesman Officer Steven Aponte, the incident happened at around 7:45 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the 400 block of Fontanelle Court, off Coyote Road.

Reports revealed that a California Waste Solutions garbage truck struck a woman. The crash happened as she took out the garbage and stepped into the blind side of the garbage truck. Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene after the incident.
