FRESNO, CA (December 9, 2021) – Wednesday night, Rebecca Rossel, 30, died in a pedestrian crash on East McKinley and North Maple Avenue.

According to Fresno police Lt. Brian Pierce, the fatal accident happened at around 6:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on East McKinley and North Maple Avenue.

Reports revealed that a westbound SUV struck a female pedestrian while crossing the road outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle driver remained at the scene after the crash.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later died.

Furthermore, authorities described the victim as a woman in her early 30s. They later released her name, Rebecca Rossel.

Meanwhile, the events leading to the deadly Fresno crash remain under investigation.
