MADERA, CA (August 31, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a woman died in a solo crash on Avenue 12 near Highway 99.

According to the authorities, the accident happened on westbound Avenue 12, just west of Highway 99.

Reports revealed that a Chevy Equinox struck a concreted median and rolled over. Also, officers believe that the male driver hit the accelerator instead of the break and left the highway.

Moreover, responders confirmed that the female front passenger of the vehicle died in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
