Female Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on 710 Freeway near Pico Avenue
LONG BEACH, CA (October 15, 2020) – Early Tuesday morning, a woman died in a crash on 710 Freeway near Pico Avenue.
According to Long Beach police, authorities received a report of a possible body under the Sixth Street connector from the southbound 710 Freeway at around 3:00 a.m.
Then, the Long Beach Police found the body of a 30-year-old woman from Long Beach. According to investigators, the woman might be crossing the northbound lanes when multiple vehicles hit her.
Meanwhile, surveillance footage revealed a woman matching the victim’s description. Moreover, she was seen walking in the 710 Freeway at around 2:00 a.m.
Furthermore, officers revealed that the coroner’s office already identified the victim. However, the police are withholding information due to pending notification to next of kin.
