WEST COVINA, CA (July 6, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on 10 Freeway near Holt Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:41 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on 10 Freeway near the Holt Avenue on-ramp.
 
Reports revealed that a white pickup with a camper shell struck a female pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle driver pulled over, walked around the scene, and drove away moments later.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the incident blocked the number 4 and 5 eastbound lanes of the freeway but have long since reopened.
