1 Killed in Clovis Car Accident on Academy Oaks Lane

 
CLOVIS, CA (December 18, 2019) – A 50-year-old woman died in a car accident on Academy Oaks Lane and Highway 168 on December 16.
 
The woman drove a 2015 Jeep Renegade on Academy Oaks Lane about 11:30 a.m. when she turned east onto the highway. Unfortunately, she didn’t see a 2000 Ford F-350. The Ford driver couldn’t stop on time to avoid crashing with the Jeep. The crash led both vehicles to careen on the north shoulder of the highway.
 
When the officers came, they located the woman with major injuries and administered a CPR.
 
Responders airlifted her to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later died. Her identity remains unreleased as of this time.
 
Meanwhile, authorities confirmed that both drivers wore their seat belts during the collision. Authorities also ruled out intoxication and weather conditions as a factor in the crash.
