Several People Injured in Riverside Multi-Vehicle Accident on Central Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (June 17, 2020) – Sunday night, a woman suffered critical injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Central Avenue.
The authorities received a report of the crash at 10:12 p.m. on Central Avenue and Streeter Avenue, said Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Jeff DeLaurie.
He added that one of the cars rammed through a fence and stopped on the lawn of a nearby residence.
When the firefighters arrived, they freed a trapped woman in one of the cars. Then, responders took her to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Moreover, responders transported a 35-year-old man to a hospital with moderate injuries. Furthermore, a family of four sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Distracted driving is one of the primary reasons why car accidents happen. Always drive defensively. However, if you see yourself unfit to drive, you can always use a ride share app instead.
