Female Pedestrian Hospitalized after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver near North 95th Street
SEATTLE, WA (November 26, 2018) – Early Tuesday morning, a woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Aurora Avenue. Her name, age, and place of residence were not immediately disclosed to the public.
Seattle Police Department officers stated that the incident occurred on the 9500 block of Aurora Avenue North near North 95th Street, around 12:30 AM.
Reportedly, a pickup truck driver had struck a pedestrian in the area and fled from the scene. Events leading up to the collision are unclear at this time, as officials continue to investigate.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the woman to Harborview Hospital where she was listed in critical condition. Troopers described the hit-and-run vehicle as 1997-2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck which sustained a damage on its bumper and hood. There is no description of the driver at this time.
