50-Year-Old Woman Injured after Fresno Pedestrian Crash on F Street
FRESNO, CA (November 11, 2019) – A woman sustained critical injuries following a pedestrian crash on F Street on Friday, November 8.
The collision occurred at about 10:00 p.m. near F Street and Ventura Street. Reports stated that a vehicle struck her while she was crossing the street in Downtown Fresno.
According to the police, they arrived on the scene and discovered the 50-year-old woman barely responsive in the middle of the street. Several bystanders tried to help her.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Community Regional Medical Center.
Police said that the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officers do not believe that alcohol played a role in the incident.
Officials shut down several roads in the area during the investigation.
