PHELAN, CA (September 16, 2019) – A woman sustained critical injuries after a pedestrian accident on Sheep Creek Road on early Monday evening.
 
According to the Police, the accident happened near Duncan Road at approximately 7:37 PM. Based on a report, the woman was walking when a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta struck her. She was thrown onto the shoulder due to impact.
 
San Bernardino County Fire said that the victim suffered major life-threatening injuries. As a result, paramedics transported her to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment.
 
Sheep Creek Road briefly closed for an investigation.
 
The car’s driver remained on scene and cooperated with officials. However, the cause of the accident on Sheep Creek Road is not yet known.
