Two Pickup Trucks Collide in Loleta, Major Injuries Sustained
LOLETA, CA (May 18, 2019) – A woman was badly injured following a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Loleta, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m., on Bear Paws Way. First responders arrived near the Bear River Casino Resort shortly after.
According to reports, a GMC pickup truck and a Ford F-250 collided for unknown reasons. The impact consequently sent the GMC about 15 feet off the roadway. The Ford also sustained major front-end damage as a result.
A female passenger in one of the vehicles suffered major injuries due to the impact. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.
Both damaged vehicles were towed away from the crash site due to the extent of their condition.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
