Driver Arrested in Riverside Accident on Highway 60 and Market Street

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (December 10, 2020) – Late Friday night, authorities arrested a woman after a DUI crash on Highway 60 and Market Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Moreover, the authorities confirmed that it occurred on EB Highway 60 at Market Street.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck a CHP cruiser with an officer on board. Moreover, the officer was working a construction detail in the area of the crash.
 
The suspect continued driving after the collision and struck another vehicle. The driver then fled on foot to the Santa Ana river bottom with officers on her trail.
 
Officers managed to catch the suspect and take her into custody.
 
Responders said that the officer and the driver of the third vehicle sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Authorities booked the suspect into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
