PHOENIX, AZ (January 10, 2023) – Sunday night, authorities arrested a woman after a pursuit crash on Loop 202 near 44th Street.
 
The incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. on Loop 202 near 44th Street.
 
According to reports, a trooper attempted to stop a driver who failed to stop. Also, they confirmed that the driver went the wrong way down the 44th Street on-ramp frontage road.
 
To stop the vehicle, a trooper rammed it.
 
As a result, the impact left the trooper with minor injuries. Then, responders took the trooper to the hospital as a precaution.
 
Meanwhile, the suspect driver also swiped another vehicle, leaving the other vehicle with damages.
 
After the incident, responders took the 42-year-old female suspect into custody.
 
Officers booked her into jail on charges of assault, criminal damage, and numerous drug offenses, with additional pending charges for driving under the influence of drugs.
