Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash on Jamboree Road near Irvine Boulevard
TUSTIN, CA (July 4, 2019) – A woman died in a three-vehicle crash on Jamboree Road, Thursday evening. Authorities withheld the identity of the 65-year-old victim, pending notification of next of kin.
According to the Orange County Fire, the incident happened shortly before 9:00 PM. Due to unknown reasons, three vehicles collided near Irvine Boulevard, adjacent to The Market Place.
Unfortunately, the 65-year-old driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, two other drivers declined medical attention. Authorities did not report any other injuries.
The Tustin Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Officers encourage witnesses to cooperate with investigators as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
