Woman in 40s Killed in Ashlan Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (August 28, 2021) – On Thursday, a woman in her 40s lost her life in Ashlan Avenue hit-and-run crash.

It was about 4:15 a.m. when the accident took place at the intersection of Shaw Avenue off-ramp on on State Route 99.

Investigating officers said the Chevy Silverado driver was northbound on the highway when the victim ran across the road.

Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene.

Moreover, the involved driver called 911 and stayed at the accident scene. The authorities said the driver cooperates with the investigation.
