Evening Pedestrian Accident near Pacific Coast Highway
WILMINGTON, CA (March 12, 2019) – An unidentified pedestrian was injured after he was hit by a vehicle late Tuesday night, on 110 Freeway.
The incident happened just after 11:00 p.m., along the southbound lanes of the highway near PCH, also known as Highway 1. The involved vehicle was described as a Toyota Tacoma pickup-truck.
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired, but deputies from the Los Angeles Police Department and fire crews from Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene. An ambulance unit was also dispatched to give aid.
The injured pedestrian was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries and in an unknown condition.
