76-Year-Old Willie Miller Dies in Vehicle Collision on Interstate 57 [Miner, MO]

Miner, MO (September 15, 2024) – 76-year-old Willie Miller from Ullin, Illinois, was killed in a vehicle collision on Interstate 57 before Friday noon.

It was about 11:15 a.m. on September 13 when the deadly three-vehicle crash happened on the northbound lanes of the highway at the 2 mile marker.

Responding officers declared Willie Miller deceased at the crash scene while a 38-year-old was transported to the St. Francis Medical Center with minor injuries.

According to the investigators, a 2013 Toyota Venza has rear-ended a Nelson GMK 5220 Boom Truck. The Toyota then crossed the median and struck a northbound 2024 Freightliner.

Traffic was impacted and lanes were closed as the authorities investigated the collision.
