Sweet Lawyers’ Attorneys Can Help
In a time where an unexpected tragedy befalls such as this one, you may be left feeling powerless. However, it is important to recognize that if your family loses a member in an accident, you may recover damages through a wrongful death suit.
A wrongful death suit allows families to hold parties liable for the irrevocable damages they have caused. It is a civil action brought forth by relatives of a deceased victim whose death was caused by the negligence of another party. It alleviates most or all of the financial burden the death of a relative has generated.
Meanwhile, nearly 1.25 million people are killed in car accidents each year. That means, on average, auto accidents cause 3,287 deaths per day. As a matter of fact, road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death in the U.S. for people aged 1-54.
