3 Injured in Los Alamos Auto Accident on Alisos Canyon Road

 
LOS ALAMOS, CA (March 14, 2022) – Tuesday night, William Platte, Cody Serrato and another suffered injuries in a crash on Alisos Canyon Road.
 
The crash involving a wrong-way driver of a 2018 Freightliner crashed head-on with 44-year-old William Platte of Los Osos driving a 2015 Toyota.
 
Then, firefighters freed Platte from the crash and took him to Cottage Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
After the crash, responders arrested the 32-year-old driver of the 2018 Freightliner, Christopher Moreno. He’s currently facing charges for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
 
Meanwhile, responders took Moreno and his 31-year-old passenger, Cody Serrato of Squaw Valle to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
Also, the incident caused a fuel spill with 30 gallons of diesel leaking in the road.
