William Lehr Injured, James Mathews Arrested in Crash on State Route 125 [College Place, WA]

1 Hospitalized in Collage Place Accident on State Route 125 and College Avenue

 
COLLEGE PLACE, WA (December 2, 2021) – Monday afternoon, William Lehr sustained injuries following a vehicle crash on State Route 125.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of State Route 125 and College Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound 1993 Toyota Camry crossed towards the southbound lanes of State Route 125. Then, it struck a 2007 Toyota Corolla.
 
Moreover, responders transported the Camry driver, 41-year-old James P. Mathews to Providence St. Mary Medical Center for treatment. Then, paramedics rushed the Corolla driver, 48-year-old William S. Lehr of Touchet to St. Mary in a private vehicle.
 
Furthermore, officials arrested Mathews on suspicion of vehicular assault. Then, authorities booked Mathews in Walla Walla County Jail.
