Rider William La Fleur Dies after Crash with Car at Scottsdale Road and Oak Street
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (October 26, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Oak Street.
According to police, a 31-year-old William D. La Fleur was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a car. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation.
Police say impairment was not a factor of the crash.
