Passenger William Johnson Injured in Highway 127 Collision [La Monte, MO]

La Monte, MO (October 23, 2024) – William Johnson, 51, and Jeffrey Rhoads, 34, were injured in a Highway 127 collision Monday.

Troopers said Jeffrey Rhoads was driving a 2019 Ford F250 when he lost control and the truck went off the side of the road and struck a ditch. 

The trailer from the truck came off and struck the back and top of the vehicle.

Rhoads sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical. His passenger, William Johnson, incurred serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.

Officers said both men were wearing seatbelts during the collision.

In the meantime, the authorities are conducting a further investigation on the La Monte truck collision.
