Modesto Multi-Car Crash Killed William Harrison and Samuel Rojas
Modesto, CA (September 11, 2020) – On Sunday, 75-year-old William Harrison and 60-year-old Samuel Rojas died in a three-car crash on Highway 132.
The fatal accident happened after 3 a.m. near Modesto.
Bernabe Guillen Jr., 32-year-old of Modesto drove a Scion east on 132. He allowed his car to swerve across the dotted yellow lane divider as he was approached by a westbound Honda driven by Samuel Rojas, 60-year-old, of Modesto.
The three vehicles sideswiped and Rojas lost control of the Honda.
Rojas’ vehicle went into the north shoulder, then, back across the westbound lane and into the eastbound lane, where it hit an eastbound Kia driven by Harrison.
Authorities pronounced both Harrison and Rojas dead at the scene.
On the other hand, the Scion driver, Guillen was uninjured.
Meanwhile, either drugs or alcohol appear to be a part of the crash west of Hart Road, about eight miles from downtown Modesto.
It was the first of two fatal accidents in consecutive days on Highway 132. Wherein, on Monday, September 7, a woman and a 12-year-old girl, both Oakland residents, died in an accident on the highway.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the Samuel Rojas and William Harrison.
