William Duncan of Corning Arrested in Stolen Vehicle Crash on East Truxtun Avenue [Bakersfield, CA]

Four Injured in Bakersfield Vehicle Collision

Bakersfield, CA (May 16, 2023) – At about 11 a.m. on Saturday, the authorities arrested William Duncan, 30, of Corning, in a stolen vehicle crash on East Truxtun Avenue.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at Beale Avenue wherein four people were injured.

The authorities said Duncan was driving an alleged stolen vehicle and missed a red light. The vehicle collided with another vehicle driven by a woman with four children inside.

The woman and one of the children incurred a moderate injury while three incurred minor injuries. The medical team rushed them all to the hospital.

Moreover, the authorities found Duncan to be in possession of around two pounds of methamphetamine. They arrested him on suspicion of possession of stolen property, reckless driving, and related narcotics charges.

The paramedics rushed Duncan to a nearby hospital due to the collision where he was medically cleared. Officers booked him into the Kern County Jail.
