William Dodd Dies after Fire Truck Crash on 35th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (May 31, 2022) – Tuesday night, 57-year-old William Dodd died in a crash on 35th Avenue.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened on May 31.

Phoenix Police said a fire truck was driving to a scene with its lights and sirens on along 35th Avenue when a vehicle attempted to pass it.

The sedan collided with the truck and eventually crashed into a tree.

As a result, Dodd, the sedan driver died from his injuries.

No firefighters were seriously injured in the incident.
