17-Year-Old Driver Injured in SR-3 Fatal Collision
BelFair, WA (April 19, 2022) On Monday morning, 74-year-old William Cundiff from Belfair, was killed in a 2-vehicle collision on State Route 3.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a 17-year-old driver struck Cundiff after failing to stop at a stop sign while turning to SR3 south of Belfair.
Furthermore, Cundiff was pronounced dead at the scene while the teenager sustained injuries.
Although injured, the teenager managed to drive himself to a hospital.
The collision shut down the roadway for around 2 hours.
