Pedestrian Accidents Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Moreover, in today’s current state of affairs, more people are walking as a new way to escape home for a while.
Because of that, pedestrian accidents like the one on Highway 49 have also spiked in popularity.
Pedestrian accidents are incidents in which someone walking or crossing a road is injured by a vehicle striking them.
Certainly, a common cause of these unfortunate incidents includes drivers speeding. Motorists who speed do not have enough reaction time to stop or yield for pedestrians who have the right of way. Especially now, with roadways emptier than ever across the world, drivers disobeying the speed limit is at an all-time high. Thus, pedestrian safety is at an all-time low.
Meanwhile, it is good to know that we can prevent this type of accident.
So, here are some of the things that we can do to avoid such accidents.
