Fatality in South 7th Street Crash

San Jose, CA (September 11, 2021) – On Friday, a male motorcyclist named Will Sivongxay died in a South 7th Street crash.

The fatal San Jose crash took place minutes before 8:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the freeway, near the CEFCU Stadium.

Apparently, a 2017 blue Ford pickup turned left from the west shoulder directly in front of the motorcyclist.

Rescuers rushed the motorcyclist to a local hospital for his injuries, where he later died. The truck driver remained at the scene.

Meanwhile, the authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending the family’s notification. However, a GoFundMe kickstarted for the victim has identified him as Will Sivongxay, a father and husband, who was on his way to work at the time of the deadly accident.

He is survived by his wife, three children, and an unborn daughter on the way. Please consider donating to the online fundraiser here.
