Vehicle Hits Pedestrian on Normandie Avenue in Westmont
WESTMONT, CA (January 11, 2019) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in Westmont.
The incident happened around 6:06 p.m. at Normandie Avenue and West 111th Place.
A passing motorist saw an unknown vehicle hit the pedestrian near the intersection. The witness then turned to check on the victim and called 911.
Fire crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and took the patient to Harbor General Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No information was provided if the car’s driver remained or fled after the crash. It is also unknown whether any charges were filed and liability has not yet been determined.
The incident remains under investigation.
