Morning Two-Car Crash in Westmont Leaves One with Severe Injuries
WESTMONT, CA (March 17, 2019) – One person was badly injured following a two-car crash Sunday morning in Westmont.
The crash happened around 8:36 a.m. at the intersection of West Century Boulevard and Normandie Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Ford Explorer and a beige Buick collided, sending one of them into a pole.
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene and found one patient with severe injuries. The individual was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Both involved vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
An initial log indicated the incident as a possible fatality, but no further information was provided.
