SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 13, 2020) – Monday afternoon, four westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge were shut down after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80.
 
According to CHP, at around 2:00 p.m., a speeding black sedan collided with four or more vehicles.
 
Furthermore, the collision happened west of Treasure Island Road in San Fransico. Then, it blocked the right and center lanes
 
Authorities confirmed that four vehicles played a role in the crash. Moreover, four westbound lanes were closed, according to the responding San Fransico Fire Department.
 
After clearing the scene and reopening the lanes, a significant amount of back-up cars is still noticeable in the area.
 
Traffic started to pick-up at around 3:00 p.m., and motorists are advised to take alternate routes to avoid the traffic in the area.
