7-Year-Old Girl Seriously Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on South Sycamore Ridge Trail
Tucson, AZ (July 27, 2022) On Tuesday morning, several people including a 7-year-old girl were injured in a rear-end crash on West Sahuarita Road.
Pima County Sheriff’s (PCSD) deputies say that the 2-vehicle collision happened at 8 a.m. near South Sycamore Ridge Trail.
Reports say that the rear-end crash involved a Dodge Journey SUV and a Hyundai Elantra passenger car.
Additionally, the Hyundai rear-ended the SUV. The SUV stopped, waiting to make a left turn.
The Hyundai had 3 occupants, including 2 minors, one of the children was a 7-year-old girl who suffered serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the SUV had 2 occupants. Paramedics transported all patients to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the collision and have not released further information at this time.
