One Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident at North Formosa Avenue
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 10, 2018) – A pedestrian hospitalized after being struck by a car on Santa Monica Boulevard, late Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, the collision took place just before 4:00 PM on Santa Monica Blvd at North Formosa Avenue. A vehicle traveling west on Santa Monica attempted to make a left turn to head south on Formosa, when they failed to see the pedestrian and hit them.
The driver stated that he was paying attention to the eastbound Jeep. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel, West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies, and Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the scene of the collision.
The injured victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. There is no current update on the patient’s condition.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident. No other information has been released at this time.
