WEST COVINA, CA – Man Killed in Big Rig Crash at San Bernardino Road and Nora Avenue

Afternoon Crash with Big Rig Crash in West Covina Kills One Motorist

 
WEST COVINA, CA (April 24, 2019) – A man was killed following a collision between a big rig and a sedan in West Covina, officials said.
 
The crash took place around 4:40 p.m., along San Bernardino Road. Dispatchers arrived just West of Nora Avenue soon after.
 
According to reports, a Honda Civic collided with the big rig and ended up stuck underneath the trailer.
 
Paramedics eventually took the Civic driver to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later. He was only described as a man estimated to be in his mid-60s.
 
The driver of the big rig was unharmed.
