Wendy Rosas of Westminster Dies in 4800 West McFadden Avenue DUI Crash [Santa Ana, CA]

Santa Ana, CA (August 23, 2021) – On Sunday, 21-year-old Wendy Rosas of Westminster died while two others suffered injuries in a DUI crash on 4800 West McFadden Avenue.

The fatal crash happened at about 12:16 a.m. 

Investigating officers said Rosas on an eastbound Ford Edge with her two passengers, was driving at a high rate of speed.

Consequently, the Ford rear-ended a Toyota Sequoia that was traveling in the same direction.

Afterwards, the Ford SUV drifted up onto a sidewalk and struck a utility pole.

Unfortunately, Rosas lost her life at the accident scene. 

Her two passengers suffered injuries and were transported to a local hospital. 

Moreover, the authorities said none of the people riding in the Toyota SUV suffered injuries from the incident.

Meanwhile, officers later found numerous containers of alcohol in the Ford. Investigators believe alcohol played a role in the fatal accident.

The authorities are still investigating this incident.
