Wayne Marshall Jr. of Oakland Dies in Scooter Accident on International Boulevard [Oakland, CA]

Oakland, CA (February 15, 2022) – On October 02, 2021, 44-year-old Wayne Marshall Jr. of Oakland sustained fatal injuries in a scooter accident on International Boulevard.

It was about 3:30 p.m. when the fatal incident happened in the 8500 block area.

A vehicle struck Marshall while he was riding an electric scooter. Then, the vehicle immediately left the area after the incident.

Unfortunately, Marshall sustained a severe head injury due to the crash.

Marshall succumbed to his injuries before noon Sunday.

Moreover, officers are investigating if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
