SOQUEL, CA (December 1, 2022) – Wednesday night, a man suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on State Route 1 and Park Avenue.
 
The incident happened at 6:48 p.m. on State Route 1 in the northbound lanes just south of the Park Avenue interchange.
 
According to reports, a 61-year-old Capitola woman driving a car struck a 31-year-old Watsonville man. The crash happened as the pedestrian walked in the northbound lanes on State Route 1.
 
After the crash, the driver stopped at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the male pedestrian to a local hospital with major injuries.
