Two Cars Collide, One Overturns on San Miguel Canyon Road in Watsonville
WATSONVILLE, CA (February 12, 2019) – A woman was hurt following a rollover crash Tuesday morning in Watsonville, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 5:24 a.m. at the intersection of San Miguel Canyon Road and Tarpey Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Scion collided with a white Acura sedan for unknown reasons. The Scion then overturned and landed on its side due to the impact.
A female occupant was still inside the overturned car when officers arrived. The woman was then extricated by emergency crews and transported to a hospital with a complaint of pain to the legs.
One of the cars sustained major front-end damage and was towed away from the collision scene.
An investigation is still ongoing to gather all the factors involved and liability.
