Jefferson County DUI Crash Injures Officer and Another
Jefferson County, WA (June 02, 2021) – On Tuesday, a police officer and another were injured in a semi-truck crash on US Highway 101.
The accident took place at about 10 A.M.
The officer pulled over a semitrailer for a violation when the officer was hit by a second vehicle.
Apparently, the second vehicle’s driver is suspected of DUI.
Officers said accident is investigated as vehicular assault.
Immediately, rescuers airlifted both the officer and the suspected DUI driver to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. They sustained serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the semitrailer driver was not injured in the accident.
