BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 8, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a 34-year-old Wasco man died in an accident on Magnolia Avenue and Merced Avenue.
 
The crash between a pickup and a big rig happened just after 12:00 p.m. Moreover, the incident occurred on Magnolia Avenue and Merced Avenue.
 
According to the department, the semi-truck drove south on Magnolia Avenue. Then, it stopped at a stop sign =at the Merced Avenue intersection.
 
Meanwhile, the Wasco man drove a 2015 Toyota eastbound on Merced Avenue west of Magnolia Avenue. Then, he crashed into the truck as it proceeded into the intersection.
