Warren Allen Arrested After Hesperia DUI Crash near Main Street and G Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (August 23, 2019) — A 56-year-old woman suffered injuries after a DUI driver struck her near Main Street and G Avenue Tuesday night.
At about 10:15 p.m, a Dodge Durango traveled eastbound on Main Street when it struck the pedestrian who ran across the busy roadway.
The pedestrian sustained a facial fracture and abrasions to her body. As a result, the San Bernardino County Fire officials requested a medical helicopter to airlift her to a trauma center.
The officers found the Dodge driver, 31-year-old Warren Allen, to be under the influence. They arrested him for VC23153(e), driving under the influence of drugs causing injury. The authorities subsequently booked Allen into the High Desert Detention Center.
However, based on public booking logs, police released Allen on bail. However, his case will be forwarded to the DA’s office for review.
