Male Pedestrian Killed in Lubbock Traffic Accident
Lubbock, TX (October 12, 2023) – 78-year-old Walter Wilkins was killed following a 98th Street pedestrian accident Wednesday night.
The authorities responded to the accident scene past 8 p.m. in the area of Slide Road.
Responding officers declared Wilkins deceased at the scene.
According to the authorities, Wilkins was crossing south at 98th Street when he was hit by an eastbound passenger van.
Officers are still investigating the Lubbock accident.
